Ministry of Helps

Altar Ministry--This ministry provides assistance and comfort to people who come to receive prayer.

Armor Bearers--These persons assist the Pastor in carrying out his God-given vision by guaranteeing the Pastor and Mrs. Fannie's personal safety and preventing unnecessary interruptions before, during and after all services and other functions.

Audio Ministry--This ministry evenly distributes sound to all areas of listener participation.

Day Ministry--This area allows people to actively participate in the ministry who are not available to work in other areas because of their work or school schedule.

Greeters--The lovely women of God stand at the doors and greet each person who enters as unto God. They make each person feel warmth, love and comfort as they are welcomed into the sanctuary.

Kitchen--These persons prepare snacks for the Nursery and Preschool, oversee all food preparations in the kitchen, and keep the kitchen area neat and clean.

Library--The workers in this area help to increase Godly knowledge for the members of Stedfast Christian Center with references that line up with the Word of God through books and audio and video cassettes.

Men's Brotherhood--This group, led by Pastor Goodwin, provides a forum exclusively for men to teach, encourage and motivate them to take their rightful place in the family, the Body of Christ and society.

Music Ministry Heritage Choir--These children, grades 1 through 6, minister God's Word through song on the third Sunday of each month.

Orchestra--The musicians, grade 7 through age 120, minister to the Lord using instruments on the first Sunday of each month.

SCC Praise Team--They minister psalms, hymns and spiritual songs at every worship service that will prepare our hearts to be rich soil for the Word to take root and grow.

Unmoveable Singers--SCC's adult choir members lift their voices in praise to the Lord on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Youth Extravaganza--Youth of grades 7 through 12 bring people into praise and worship of the Father through anointed music, dance and drama. The Youth Extravaganza performs on the Second Sunday of each month.

Outreach Ministry--The purpose of the Outreach ministry is to go out into the community and teach the Word of God to the elderly, disadvantaged youth and unwed mothers and to be a blessing to them by meeting their physical needs as well.

Pastoral Ministry Workers--This special group provides for the physical needs of Pastor and Mrs. Fannie with the assistance from the church family.

Personal Ministry Workers--These members minister salvation, assurance of salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and offer church membership to interested persons.

Prayer Warriors--This group prays consistently for Pastor, Mrs. Fannie, the body of Stedfast and any special needs of the members.

Sign Language--These persons minister to the hearing impaired's spiritual and physical needs by interpreting the Word given by the Pastor.

Singles Ministry--This ministry is designed to develop unmarrieds (single, widowed, divorced) as healthy, whole and complete individuals in the body of Christ.

Tape Ministry--These workers duplicate and sell audiocassettes of the messages heard at SCC.

Teachers--Since we believe the study of God's Word is vital to spiritual growth, Stedfast offers Bible classes on Sundays and Bible Study on Wednesdays for all ages from infants through adults. Our Nursery is well kept and a very attractive place for infants 6 weeks to 2 years. Through a carefully designed curriculum, each child's spiritual growth and development is enhanced. The Preschool children, ages three to five years are supervised in a safe and comfortable atmosphere where their spiritual needs are met. The Primary through Adults meet in individual classes where the Word of God is taught with innovation and creativity through drama, songs, skits, debates, videos and reports.

Video Tape Ministry--This ministry provides the gospel for our generation by way of video production.

Special Care Workers--The purpose of this area is to minister to the families of SCC by assisting Pastor and Mrs. Fannie in the care of membership through edification, exhortation and comfort.

Video Projection Ministry--This area allows a visual presentation of the Word in song and ministry, allowing for church participation.

Ushers--These Godly men oversee and seat the congregation, maintain order, assist worshippers who are receiving prayer, receive the offering and monitor the hallway and parking lots during all services.

Women Growing Godly (WGG)--Led by Mrs. Fannie, WGG assists women in maturing as healthy, whole and complete individuals in the body of Christ.
